My 2 Grandmas!

From the time I was a little girl, I always admired and enjoyed the beautiful homemade items
that my two grandmas made for me from cuddly handmade teddy bears, dolls and puppets to
beautiful knitted sweaters and jackets. With the help of my Grandma F., I knitted my first sweater
for one of my dolls when I was eight years old, and I completed my first cross-stitch project when
I was ten. Since then I have also learned how to quilt as well as follow patterns for knitting,
cross-stitching, and sewing.
Now that I have two children of my own and my friends are having babies, I enjoy making
unique handmade gifts for the babies and children that I know. Each item is made with the same
care and love that my two grandmas put into the special gifts that they made for me as I was growing up.
